What You Need to Know Before Ordering Carbonless Forms

Send us your file in PDF format whenever possible — it preserves your layout and fonts exactly as designed. We also accept native files from Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or Photoshop, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel for simple layouts. If your form has different content on each copy (for example, a white top sheet with a different layout on the canary), please provide each part as a separate layer or page. We can also design from scratch based on your rough sketch or sample; just tell us what info goes on each part.

Our standard paper options for NCR forms include 20# bond for the top sheet and 15# NCR (carbonless) paper for subsequent copies. You can choose between black or blue image; both produce crisp, legible copies. We offer coated back (CB) and coated front (CF) sheets to match your multipart set. Common extras include crash numbering, padding into pads of 25 to 100 sets, and perforation for tear-off sections. Just let us know your preferred paper weight and any special handling.

Turnaround: Most standard runs of carbonless forms complete in 5–7 business days after proof approval. Rush service is available for quicker deadlines — ask us when you order.
Proofing: Before we go to press, you’ll receive a digital proof (usually a PDF) showing each part of your form. This is your chance to check copy, alignment, numbering sequence, and that the “boxes” line up correctly on all copies. We don’t print until you give the okay.

Once you approve the proof, we move straight to production. We’ll pad, collate, and package your forms exactly to your specifications — ready to write on, no carbon mess.
